On occasion, ActiveComply users may want to manually create a Contact Card for an employee not included on NMLS. Creating an unlicensed employee Contact Card is mostly utilized for unlicensed AE's or business development employees who are approved to use social media for the company's benefit, but are not authorized to advertise.

Note: the creation of Contact Cards should NOT be utilized for licensed employees.

Licensed employee Contact Cards will be created automatically from ActiveComply's data subset from NMLS Consumer Access™. This data set is updated on a weekly basis.

Identify a Non-licensed Employee Social Media Account

To manually create a Contact Card, ActiveComply users must first identify a social media profile for the unlicensed employee. Social media accounts with a grey-man icon will have no current Contact Card associated. Social media accounts with a green-man icon will already be associated with an existing Contact Card. Once identified, the user may click on the social media account name to visit the Contact Card assignment page.

Creating a new Contact Card

After visiting the Contact Card assignment page, begin to type in the un-licensed employee's name. Search will begin to populate for association to other currently licensed employees but can be disregarded. ActiveComply users can utilize the +Add new contact button to begin creating a contact.

The below Contact creation box will appear. To create a Contact, users will need to complete the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address fields. NMLS ID may be left blank.

After Creating an Un-licensed Employee Contact Card

After creating the new Contact Card the social media profile will automatically be tied to the unlicensed employee. Please note that the Contact Card dashboard will not reflect any licensing or branch data as the employee is unlicensed.

Searching for Un-licensed Employees on the Contacts Page

Since manually created Contact Cards are not generated from NMLS Consumer Access data, each Contact is considered unlicensed by the system filters. To search for an unlicensed employee, the user can search for the employee's name. Users will note that these Contact Cards will not have any licenses listed in the Licenses column on the Contacts Page.
