ActiveComply's Data Connector for BI Tools makes it possible to distribute key business insights from the SocialShield product across your organization. Users can seamlessly integrate ActiveComply data sources into their business intelligence tools for real-time analytics and insights. Easily visualize trends, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions with this intuitive integration. Key insights could include:

  • Outstanding compliance tickets on a branch-by-branch level

  • Severity risk ratings and corrective action issued

  • Trends by regulation categories, such as RESPA, Fair Lending, SAFE Act, and more.

ActiveComply provides BI data connectors via Google Cloud BigQuery, enabling seamless export of SocialShield data. It supports data push to custom analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Domo using native integration options allowing users to build custom reports and dashboards using their existing BI tools.

Request to Begin

To being this process, users should email [email protected] with the below information:

  • BI tool utilized by the organization today.

  • The name and email of a technical contact at your organization who manages the BI tool.

For a streamlined process, Users should include their appropriate technical contact in the initial request email.

The Setup Process

During the setup process, the technical personnel member will communicate with ActiveComply staff and receive an API access key.

  • First, clients will receive a JSON formatted credential file from ActiveComply.

  • Within the client's BI tool, the client will create a new federated data connection via GCP BigQuery using the credentials from the previous step.

  • In some integrations, there may be an extra layer of complexity specific to a client's BI tool subscriptions or IT security parameters.

  • Once the steps above are complete, clients will have access to the data sets within the BI tool which models your ActiveComply product usage. ActiveComply SocialShield clients could expect to see ~10 tables of data. ActiveComply also provides model and field level definitions that help guide reporting implementations.

Creating Dashboards

Once access is granted and received, the technical contact member can partner with users to build customized dashboards that meet the client’s needs at various levels of the organization. Here is a example BI dashboard that may be used as reference:
