Guest Access users are external, non-admin users, who receive invitation from WebCompass Admin users to review website change requests. Guest Access users have restricted access and can only view websites assigned to them for review. Guest Access user can see any compliance issues identified by their complaince team, but also key marketing information such as SEO scoring, page load time, page optimization, etc.
As Guest Access users make updates to their websites, WebCompass Issues identified will automatically update to a green checkmark upon the next website rescan.
Granting Guest Access
From a Website Dashboard page, the Admin user may issue remediaiton to the Guest Access user by selecting the Share button on the top right of the page.
The Admin user will be prompted to enter an email address. After adding this Guest Access "contributor" email, WebCompass will automatically send an invitation email.
Revoking Guest Access
To remove a Guest Access user, Admin users may select the Share button again and utilize the X next to an individual Guest Access user.
Reporting on Guest Access
From the Websites Page grid view, Admin users can see what Guest Access users have been added to sites through the Guest Access column. By hovering over a particular user bubble, Admin users can see the name and email of the Guest Access user. The Guest Access column can be sorted numerically by most to least number of Guest Access users added.
To see a list of websites for a particular Guest Access user, Admin users can utilize Filtering on the Guest Access column. Available filter fields include:
Guest Access (Email)
Guest Access (First Name)
Guest Access (Last Name)
Excel exporting is available for the Guest Access column as well. These export cells will contain the following format: Guest Access user ID, Guest Access First Name, Guest Access Last Name, Guest Access Email.
