Each individual inspection response will have a Status dropdown button on the right-hand side. These Status dropdown options allow users to easily review individual inspection responses and change Statuses as part of the review process.

Status Definitions

The below Status options are reflected in the system:

  • Accepted (gray): The gray Status of Accepted is a system generated Status and is not selectable by users. This Status indicates that a provided response was an acceptable answer, not a required response field, or the question was not required based on a previous questions answer (known as a "if, than" question).

  • Needs Review (yellow): The yellow Status of Needs Review may be a system generated status based on a particular inspection response or may be manually applied by an administrative user. This Status indicates that a provided response needs review. This may be because the provided response was not the correct/expected answer, the inspection takers geolocation was outside the expected radius, etc. Photos and videos captured will have a default Status of Needs Review.

  • Flagged (red): The red Flagged Status is a status manually applied by administrative users as part of the review process. This Status indicates that a provided response is out of compliance and is in need of corrective action.

  • Resolved (green): The green Resolved Status is a status manually applied by administrative users as part of the review process. This Status indicates that a provided response has been remediated. The green Resolved Status is only available for items that have a Needs Review or Flagged Status.

Changing the Status of Individual Inspection Items

To change a response Status, users may simply use the down-arrow on the Status dropdown button:

Issue Counts

As administrative users review inspections, the counts for individual inspection sections as well as the total inspection will increase based on selected Statuses. For the issue counts, the green numerical value will equal the number of Resolved items, the yellow numerical value will equal the number of items with the Status of Needs Review, and the red numerical value will equal the number of Flagged items.

These counts will contribute to the number of Open Issues and Total Issues on an inspection.
